Thanks for the emails with well wishes. wanted to answer them all
personally but typing one handed takes forever. Hand surgery went
well. didn't take too long and the really funny thing was that the
anesthesiologist brewed mead and so did one of the assistants. so we
talked about booze the whole way thru and that helped take my mind off
it.  (Yes Mercedes they put me in a brace I can't take offf....
thought you'd get a kick out of that! *grin*) Anyway, doing good and
will be off work and bored to tears for 6 weeks.

 Here is the on topic part, while in surgery the doc told me about a
new brewing supply place that is a little cheaper than Mecca (yes I am
sure I am the last to know about this, but just in case) It is called
High Gravity and is located at 71st and Memorial. The website is
WWW.highgravitybrew.com. This information was given to me under the
influence of fuzzy- face -feeling- cant- make- a- fist- type drugs.
Weeee! However, I was smart enough to have them write it down.
