Some interesting info I have received from Kingdcom Seneschal. This can affect everyone in group be they are doing demos, have children or autocrating.

All officers, please take note since some of this will affect you also.

Now back to your nice friday afternoon

> In February, I attended the Kingdom Seneschal's & Exchequer's Symposium. The following items were shared with me and I wanted to pass them along:
>
> From this point forward the practice of "Whack-a-Knight" at demos must end. Going forward, only warranted fighters may take part in combat related activities at demos. This means you cannot give a rattan sword to a non-warranted demo attendee and let them hit you while you are in armor. This comes down from Corporate.
>
> There is a new Corporate Youth Policy. There must be 2 adults present at all youth-related activities. MOCs and Marshals, please take note and make changes accordingly to your handbooks and policies.
>
> If a seneschal, one of their warranted deputies (such as an Autocrat), or an agent of the SCA (such as a warranted officer of any level of the SCA) is made aware that a crime has been committed, they must call the authorities and the Kingdom Seneschal. Where is the line drawn? What kinds of problems? It's simple. Use the "Reasonable Person Test." Would a reasonable person call the authorities in this or that situation? Crimes of violence, yes. Crimes involving minors or of a sexual nature, yes. Jaywalking, no. Speeding on site, no.

> Corporate is rewriting Corpora. If you are interested, please read it and send any changes or comments to the BoD at directors at sca.org. You can find the current version of Corpora at www.sca.org/docs/govdocs.pdf.
