[Northkeep] Upcoming Demos!

Please Northkeep step up, step out and help with a demo. It only takes a few
hours and the rewards to the Society and Northkeep are well worth the

They are looking for a renaissance/medieval presentation from the SCA to
entertain a group of children.

Demo #2
June 6th-11th -- OSU Tulsa Humanities Event

A week long evening event centered on individual seminars where individuals
from Renaissance and Elizabethan history are recreated by a professional
presenter. They would like us to do music, crafts, armored combat, and be
there to add atmosphere and warm-up the crowds before the performers take
the stage.

They would dearly love for us to have some artisans, warriors, bards, and
especially musicians there to show off the SCA. Along these lines could
Toinette please contact me off list.

This demo is a week long thing but if you can only go one night then that
would be great. The demos start Monday June 6th and go thru Saturday the
11th 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

The speaker start their presentations at 7:30 and go till 9pm and our
participants are welcome to stay for the seminars (for free)

If you can help with either demo even if only one night for the university
demo please let me know. Jane Varmecky who is the university coordinator for
this event will be at Populace meeting this Monday evening to talk to us
again about our participation in this event.
