Excellent! I thought that might be the case, but I wanted to make sure.
Ptomaine is one gift I prefer to NOT give guests (Hallmark doesn't have
an "I'm sorry" card for that, yet). Can't wait to try this recipe. It
might even soften up last year's fruitcake. :)

Ismet's the cordialer in this house but we've got cordials over 2 years
old in our cupboard. There's enough alcohol you don't have to
refigerate. The flavor will change over time.
Those that've lasted that long may be great or they may be awful by
then. We've made plum, blackberry, blueberry, peach, etc. with pretty
much the same recipe.
