(sneaking on at work... shhhhh, don't tell!)

Lady Ismet... Thank you so very much for preparing the packages with drop
spindles, wool and plastic baggies for each child... it was so much more
than I expected! I am eternally grateful. Morgan and I were completely
unprepared... she had done some spinning at the park during fighter practice
a few months ago, and spun a little more after that... but her spindle was
accidentally broken at home, so Morgan hadn't even touched it in a long
time... so she kinda forgot. I felt bad for taking over her class, but I
knew it was probably best, or else the kids attending probably wouldn't have
known what to do. Morgan admitted later, when I apologized to her for taking
over her class, that she didn't really remember how to do it, anyway. If she
decides to teach a class in the future, I will make sure she practices, and
seeks assistance if necessary, BEFORE I let her commit to teaching a class.

I had attended Lady Debroah's class, as a refresher for myself in case
Morgan needed help, and I'm glad I did. It wasn't until then that I realized
that we had never been shown how to START the spindle!!! So I asked Debroah
if she'd check in on us, and to my extreme gratitude, she did. I just don't
know what I would have done if she hadn't. There were 2 kids that kept
having problems, so I kept having to go back to them instead of moving on to
the next child... so I felt they were getting neglected. Luckily, since
Debroah came by, she was able to help and all children got to spin wool. I
hope they all remained interested enough to keep at it at home, and ask for
help if they have problems. They all seemed to really enjoy it. Perhaps
we'll have more spinners amongst us... perhaps we can sit and spin during
populace! If your child took the class, make sure they bring their supplies
to populace, or officers (if you come to that)... or Needleworkers, even!

Anyway, I owe so much thanks to these two wonderful ladies, without whom
Morgan's class never would have happened. Thank you both so very, VERY
much!!! (and thanks to Damon, if you helped your lady construct the
spindles)

Danke shoen!!!!
