The following is a partial post from the Gulf Wars list - since we don't really know what shape our specific area is going to be in, it would probably be a good idea to come prepared for numerous eventualities.

As John said, all the trees have been removed but the ground is broken 
where trees were uprooted, and there are some equipment tracks and
lots of small branches, etc. that can only be picked up by hand.
