First of all, let me say we love you guys in the SCA! You have helped  me as
a teacher make history come alive for students several times.  This year, my
homeschool group is teaching a high school level course  on Medieval
History. I am hoping to find some SCA volunteers to speak  to my class. I am
especially interested in someone with the persona of  a Norse invader to
meet with us in January. Later in the spring, we  would also love anyone who
could perform as a minstrel. Could you  perhap present these requests at one
of your meetings? We could pay a  small honorarium for the guest speakers.

   In early April we will be sponsoring a Medieval Feast, and would  also
love to invite any of your members to join us. (Unfortunately, I  don't have
the exact date or location yet)

  One final request: could you give me any information on arranging  lessons
for the students interested in archery or swordfighting? Thank  you so much.
