[Northkeep] OT: Auction to benefit some SCAdians.

Hello folks.  

 

Please pardon the intrusion of a non-Ansteorran subject but it's a
chance to help a SCA family in tough straights and you might even find
something you want...

 

Here's the story:

 

While visiting her family in Arizona, Catherine-Anne was injured in a
car versus bus accident. She has some serious injuries involving surgery
and a lengthy hospital stay. 

BDR is at her side; therefore no money is coming in. 

We have started this auction to help them with their day-to-day monetary
needs. 



You may or may not know BDR and Catherine-Anne but I would hope that if
something similar happened to one of ours, people would flock to help in
a similar manner.

The auction is up to 60 items and a few still have no bids at all.

Check every couple of days as people are adding more every day and be
sure to examine the closing dates for any item you bid on.  Last week a
pair of 18 ga. titanium gauntlets sold for just over $200.  A real
steal.  

 

And if you feel like posting items you can.  Bess & Yesunge who own a
B&B in Nova Scotia have offered a 5 day stay at their place near the
sea.  Just saw some silk, tablet woven, garters in your heraldic colors,
with or with out motto get posted.
