[Northkeep] wife swap episode

That's what I found disturbing, also. Through the magic of editing (or
maybe not), it portrayed the family as fearful of the 21st century, very
isolated and one-dimensional. Anyone who was possibly thinking of getting
into reinacting in general or the SCA in particular would be thinking twice,
I'm afraid, of looking goofy and more than a bubble off plumb - although WE
already know we're marching to another drum (probably from the Hafla). :)

Well, *I* don't have a cell phone!

Mostly my concern is that someone will think that *all* medievalists are
as disconnected / dysfunctional as this family. And so therefore, we (the
SCA) need to be aware how this was presented to America and be ready to
counter it. What if someone finds this really cool potential site for an
event and the *only* idea of modern-day medievalists the owner has is from
"Wife Swap"?
