Several of us went for the first few years, but then we had scheduling conflicts.
 
Any one not going to bad girls, or the fair should plan to attend

The KAF is sponsored by the City of Stroud and there is a special 
place for the SCA. The fair director is SCA and he he;ped us out a 
lot with our first AXEMAN event. We have a list area to fight in and 
they usually have a huge turnout. The fair area covers about 60 acres 
and there are campsites galore. The era for the fair is 560 A.D., but 
any garb from any era will be accepted. Take the turnpike to Stroud 
and at the intersection of highways 66 and 99, got north on 99 until 
you see a sign on your right that says Stroud Lake, take the lake 
road for exactly three miles then turn left on a dirt road for 3/4 of 
a mile and you will see the entrance on your left. Can't miss it. 
Normally he has a group of fighters who keep something going all day, 
but they backed out on him and he really needs at least 6 light and 4 
heavy fighters. We are bringing 4 heavy and two light, but could sure 
use four more light fighters. If anyone has any questions, they can 
call me at area code 405 and the three numbers are 275-8080, 273-9037 
or 919-0746. We and the City of Stroud would very much appreciate 
your help in this. Stroud is VERY SCA friendly. Fighters will get 
free admission and a free lunch, If you get any response to this, 
please let me know how many will be coming. I thank you very much for 
your help.
