[Northkeep] FW: Pirate Demo

IF we have enough committed volunteers, the following will be the itinerary
for the Pirate Ship.

Weekend of August 25th – Lucan and Sarah will go pick up the ship. (We will
have to go to Branson to pick it up.)

September 1st or 2nd – Workday to Repair the ship.  (Anyone who knows how to
follow instructions, use a hammer, cordless drill, and a paintbrush is
appreciated.)

September 7th and 8th – Construct and Play!  (Even if we are there at 7am,
we will not be able to set up the ship before the demo starts at 1pm without
doing some initial set-up on the 7th.)

I am currently planning to be out of town in Omaha/Lincoln NB during the
pirate demo, but would be interested in helping with the construction.  Let
me know if you plan to move forward with this project.  I would also like to
see the pics. . .LOL

Lord Lucan Silverwolf is interested in bringing a 30 pirate ship to the
pirate demo in September and needs a crew.  The ship will also require a
weekend of initial repair work and help would be appreciated.  The ship will
take about a day to construct depending upon the number of volunteers
available.  All guests can walk through the ship and we made kraken
tentacles to move through fog inside the ship.  The deck is fully capable
of being walked on and we have two gas powered cannons that make quite a
boom. (Completely safe, but loud!)  See picture below.

 

 

We have not yet committed to the project and need to hear from any of you
who are willing to construct and man the ship.  Please contact us via email
by August 15th to so that we can make a decision on whether we have enough
volunteers and crew to construct and man the ship.
