3000 lbs?  Disrespect not the Ram!!  It's got a native towing capacity of
around 8000 lbs, depending upon your model year and whether or not your a
crew cab or 2 man cab.  :)  (http://www.allpar.com/model/ram/)  You can tow
more with trailer brakes, or at a risk to life and limb ("We're not going to
stop in tiiiiiimmmmmee!!!!")

But Gassion is right about the tongue weight.  Bumper hitches have a much
lower tongue weight rating than a chassis mounted hitch, and if you and a
friend can't lift it, you'll need to redistribute the weight inside the
trailer.
