I was working Sun night when the power went out at the airport at ~3:30am Mon morning.  The hotel regain power around 1:30pm the same day, but not the airport.  Ran several errands and saw much devastation.  It reminded me of the newscasts of war areas with the sounds liken to gunshots as trees & transformers fall or short out.  Randal's house seems ok as I went to check on his puppy "Belle", it was without power and the large tree in the backyard had fallen.  Stopped by my house and our power/cable lines where down from our neighbors branches falling on our lines and yanking the lines from the side of the house.  Not sure when it will be fixed as the news says the electric company working on places to bring the most people back on-line.  My chainsaw is running "rough" and wants to die when acceleration is applied.  I'm a bit nervous about trying to get it with the down power line in front of the shed.

I've been staying at work in one of the rooms with a broken Heater/AC window unit, and it seems we are having problems getting food.  Going to try and go get food from a store and try and get something electric to cook my food and get an electric heater.  I'm getting sick from the cold and lack of food, but I am grateful that I'm not in the dark without power.
