                           NOBLE”S LUNCHEON AT CASTELLAN

               Following this missive, please find a list of “dishes” that 
will be served for the “Noble’s Luncheon”.  If you want to 
prepare one of the dishes, to donate for the luncheon, review the list and let me 
know which you are interested in preparing.
              This luncheon IS meat intense. But the menu has been constructed to feed more people with less food.
       All recipes should be prepared to serve 50 people but please remember that super rich foods can be served in smaller portions than usually noted, especially when paired with other rich foods.
             Some recipes are less complicated than others so shop around and have fun!

   Civet of Venison
   Tuppeny Struggles (savoury pie)
   Aberdeen Angus meatballs in onion gravy
   Forfar Bridies (meat tart-ish item)

     Orkney Cheese & Ayrshire Bacon Cake
   Caramelized Onion Tart

   Soup:  
     Hotch Potch (a summer soup)

     Potted Dunlop Cheese with Apple**

   Lemon Posset with Brambles
   Butterscotch (brickle like)
   Helensburgh Toffee
   Hatit Kit (rich & creamy Scottish dessert)
