1. a hussuf kit (a 'housewife" kit, or small sewing kit) and the ability to use it,
2. a stout iron pot, and the ability to use it, as well.
3. proper boots.
4. his good name.
5. his honest word.
 
or, a horse, a sword and a pistol! (that's what Froggie had, when he went a'courtin! i don't know why that song's stuck in my head!)
