[Northkeep] Where are YOU going?

The War of the Lilies is a Calontir event in the Kansas City area.  
During the week they teach classes--different ones each year.  I've 
learned glass bead making (I watched, can't say I could do it), lucet, 
period dying, Mongul dress styles and lots of other things there.  And 
the Calons throw several parties.  Last year during the fireworks 
display over the lake they had a period band from Germany playing music 
as servers went among the crowd offering food.  I also got to ride on a 
reproduction viking ship that day--some watched the fireworks from her.  
It's always a little different, but it's always a fun event.  Hope our 
schedule will allow us to attend this year.
