Kudos to you Susan for assisting in a good cause and lighting the fire so others may come to help. I personally have helped Mephare (Traci) and the ladies of Halfiras with the Talhaquah Playhouse version of V.M. over the last four years and still have my BOB shirt from earlier this year. I don't know yet what I am doing that time of year or whether I will be back in Tulsa this Sunday, but if I am I will stop by. I have sold/taken tickets, carry donation buckets, run concession & sell raffle tickets for donated prize baskets. I can even be persuaded in helping move things around, but I really do not look good in a boa.

I will also pass this email to Mephare, she may have some contacts that may be of assistance for the Tulsa group, or some ideas of what worked/didn't work for Talhaquah. I will also remind her in the morning when I stop by to see her.

Sunday, November 16th, at 3:00pm we will be having our next meeting. If you would like to know more about V-Day 2009 events, please join us at Shades of Brown Coffee House at 33rd and Peoria, across the street from BOK Bank. We will be meeting in the back room; just follow the hallway till you run out of room.
I have had just one volunteer thus far, and that saddens me. I know a lot of you will be in Mississippi next March, leaving behind a few stray souls like me. I need you lords and ladies. I feel the need to do what I can to educate and support girls and women who have become victimized. I'm not asking for anything other than what I am also doing, and I understand this issue may not be on the top of your priority list, although I believe it ought to be, but I need your help. Please help. Please.
