Greetings Northkeep,
The Tulsa City-County Library's Annual Renaissance Faire is quickly upon us. This year's Faire will be held on October 4, 2008 at the Martin Regional Library from 1 to 4
p.m. Their theme is "Once Upon A Time", bringing fairytales, folklore and other stories to life!

They have invited Northkeep to join them again this year as a feature at their event. Heidi Garrett the event coordinator said that "Children and adults alike greatly enjoy seeing the village and watching the fighters. We have the flat, south-west corner of the baseball field and the trees held for your organization. We hope you are available for another amazing event!" With all the library allows us to do we should as a Barony come together and present the best demo possible for them.

With the Baronial Pavilion suffering some damage at the last demo we will need all the help we can get with period pavilions, artisans, musicians, and fighters. Please bring out your period pavilion, your banners, and help us make this another awesome demo.

Something that worked really well at the Tulsa Parks Fair was having individual camps set up where artisans worked. Master Beorthlic's metal working was particularly popular. I would imagine that a weaving and spinning area, and a leather worker would also go over rather well, as would scribal. So if any one wants to contribute setting up a period encampment or a craft display that would be very cool, please let me know.

Kindly,
Ian
Baron
