[Northkeep] Fiber Arts Classes

Kale, which of the classes I described interest you (and any others) the most? I can adapt for most people's needs. I can start with selecting fabrics, preparing fabric for cutting and cutting out, sewing and tailoring techniques. The end result for every student is garb that looks the way they want it, fits well and is comfortable, and lasts. I am a real hands-on teacher. I have and will teach these classes, or some of them, at wInterkingdom, but the thing about teaching them at a private venue is that it can take as long as it takes, till everyone has had a chance to ask all the questions they want and get the techniques fully explained and demonstrated to them, or till I get tired, whichever comes first.

                                                                         Catrin

Kale, you mentioned at Grub & Garb that you just finished a weaving
project. I don't know what type of weaving you are doing, but I am more than
happy to teach any of the weaving I know, which currently includes
double-face card weaving, brocade, inkle and pick-up inkle with rigid
heddles or string ones, as well as some of the more complicated patterns
with odd turning sequences.

Anytime anyone wants to learn more about weaving, just let me know and I
will be happy to help you if I can, either one-on-one or in a class format.
