Yes it is... 1:00 at Camp DaKaNi... behind Frontier City at Hefner Rd and
I-35 in OKC.

"I wanted to remind everyone that Sunday we will be having the Grub & Garb
II held in conjunction with the Archery Practice. Practice will start at
1:00 and we will be going till 5:00 ish. Please bring your pop-ups and
tables and some Grub, we will be grilling dogs so sides would be great.

I would love to see some Light and Heavy Fighters out as well as some A&S, I
am hoping to have several new people come in and want to show them what a
wonderful Barony we have here."

To keep the ball rolling.. Why don't we throw out some dates?
 
Sunday this weekend is good but not enough notice to folks around town...
 
Therefore, How about Sunday afternoon  Next weekend? August 30th? @ 2-ish
o'clock?
 
The weekend thereafter is Gothic and Valor... So no fighters will probably
show up.
 
Laurels Prize is that next weekend, may not be a bad weekend either, so the
12 and 13th of September would be good.
 
Also, It would be good if we did a college Demo and had college students at
it. So we should communicate a need for students from Mooneschadow and
NamRon come and demo with us. It is a classic marketing technique to have
the audience being referenced doing the recruitment. 
 
I think that we should try to recruit and invite to a LOCAL event, so that
they can experience the SCA fully. So two to three weeks before your event
would be good, but I didn't reference the calendar.

As soon as you get more information on the demo, such as a date or whatever,
let me know.  I am a little familar with campus demos and will be happy to
help if I can in the preparation as well as during the actual event itself.
