I too have been following and would be intrested in learning the weaving techniques. I live in OKC, but am willing to drive to Tulsa for the classes.

Catrin and Ayla, and Kale too,
I've been following this string for a couple of days, and wanted to let you
know that I also am interested in sewing and weaving techniques, of any
sort. As an SCA novice (member for a whole 90 days), I have created
the simplest of garb (*circa* 1150 AD) embellished with basic embroidery.
It is still a work in progress. Next project is an underdress (kirtle?).
I will be at Fiber Arts and Trailer Cleaning event on Labor Day with sewing
machine, fabrics, yarns, etc., in abundance. After inventorying Baronial
items and repairing tabbards, I would be most glad to share materials and
receive instruction.
Has anyone taken up the potluck coordinating responsibility? I can
volunteer for that, but I know so few people.
Humbly,
Franziska von Locknitz
