One thing that was said over and over at Red Tape was that
1) the mass authorizations that were done a while back when the cards 
changed were all expiring about now, and that as a result EVERYONE 
needed to check their cards and MANY people needed to re-authorize.
2) NO authorizations would be done at Gulf War. The only POSSIBLE 
exception would be authorizations that WOULD NOT COUNT until your 
permanent card arrived in your mailbox AFTER the war.

Seriously though, thanks for the updates in the second attempt.

On a separate note, can you or one of the other fighters post a note to 
the list
on authorization cards?  Specifically, has anything changed in the last 
couple
of years on the color of card you should have or things that fighters 
need to
verify to know if their authorization is up-to-date?  Also, at either 
the
regional practice or your later getting ready session, will 
authorizations be
available?
