That'll be great! I've been looking/drooling over the Denver Fabrics site, but wondering what sort of wools would be good for what, etc. If you don't mind me horning in on your class, I will bring my linen from the Fabric Store (online) so people can feel the different weights and the hands of the fabrics. Thanks for sharing your expertise. I know linen and some silks, but not a lot about wool. A lot of their prices seem excellent, and I'm also wondering about the wool/silk blends.
*Sigh*...just what I need, more fabric.

                                                                                                   Catrin

I've had some more people ask about wool fabrics, so ...

Monday night, at the Fiber Arts meeting, I will bring a variety of wool fabrics and garments for people to look at and fondle. I'll also give (to anyone who is interested) an abbreviated version of my "Identifying fabrics" class so you can go to the fabric store or online armed with everything you need to know about worsteds, woolens, gabardines, bombazines, flannels, dreadnoughts, and superfines, so that you can purchase with confidence and get the right fabric for your project.
