Kevin tastefully and privately corrected my mental hiccup, so I thought I should forward it to the list in case anyone wonders if I am a senior citizen (ok, I do belong to AARP but they're taking thirtysomethings now and of course I got my Laurel at age 12! ;)

    Sorry for the AS booboo...I was thinking in terms of the ninth & tenth years of the kingdom.  I remember the Ansteorra Tenth Year Celebration and the Laurel Circle in 110F (in full sun, no less).  That would account for my memory being fried :)  Thanks for clearing that up, so no, I'm not 66 years old, I just feel like it.

Catrin, you were made a Laurel on 1/7/89 -- that's AS 23. It was in the tenth year of the kingdom of Ansteorra, just before the tenth anniversary of the BoD approval (April '79), the first crown tourney (May '79) and coronation (June '79 for Jonathan, July '79 for Willow). I'm not sure which of those the kingdom considers its birth, but the XXX celebration is in July. Still, your Laurel was in the tenth year of Ansteorra and the twenty-third of the Society.

You were made Premier Bard on 1/30/88, AS 22 and in the ninth year of the kingdom.

Agnes de Saint Michel moved to Tulsa near the end of AS 10.

    I am not sure if I will be able to be there in person Friday night--we are
down to one car and I have not been feeling too well of late.  But if it is not
a dealbreaker not to be there Fri, I would like to offer the following services.

    Let it be known I am offering my services * 3 separate times *,one (1) of
each, for the following:

1. Your choice of an original song, story or poem on the subject of your choice.
If poem, you may also select the poetic form if you like.  My credentials:  I
was Ansteorra's Premier Bard in AS 9, Principal Bard in AS 10.
(The first is performing, the second administrative.)

2. A 2 hour master class in your home or other location in your choice of:
  2a. Early period Western European garb
  2b. Celtic/Norse/Anglo-Saxon embroidery
  3c. Bardic performance and presentation
My credentials: created Companion of the Laurel AS 9.

3. A matched set of necklace, bracelet and earrings, materials cost paid by me
within reason ( though I can be fairly reasonable) in your choice of stone or
stones.  My credentials:  I REALLY like jewelry, and I've made a lot of it.

anyone has any questions don't hesitate to ask.
