Greetings good populace,
We have some great things planned for the smalls at Yule this year and in order to pull this particular rabbit out of my hat I will need the assistance of a few good gentles who are willing to work with our Youth. I will help where needed. Classes will start @ 10:00 am. There will be a one hour luncheon break @ noon and classes will resume at 1:00 pm and run until 4:30pm
1:00pm Children's Bardic Competition - 2 -3 volunteers for judges as two of my smalls are preparing to enter.
Ornament making class - Make1 to take home and 1 for a gift basket for Her Majesty. Anghared of Patrin-Or has Volunteered to make Dough ornaments. She will need an assistant and a place to bake the ornaments on site.
Candle Making Class - need 2 Volunteers. I have supplies for rolled beeswax candles.
A Quest(Scavenger Hunt) This will run simlutanious to the other activities.
Dance class - This can be a sampler of country dances. Need 2 teachers.
Courtly Graces Class- I have not yet heard from Her Majesty if she would like to teach this but she was going to be coming to teach my Girl Scouts the same thing earlier in the week. 2 other Volunteers would be appreciated to help Her Majesty
Subtlety Making class and competition - 3 volunteers to supervise and Judge Ginger Cracker houses.
4:30ish pm Visit from Grandfather Frost and Snow Maiden - Perhaps someone could tell the story of Snow Maiden before their arrival?
I will have Girl Scouts on hand to help all who volunteer to help with classes and competitions. These girls are earning service hours toward their Silver Award and are eager to be of service.
Please let me know as soon as possible if you will be able to help and what you would like to help with. Once I get all the spaces filled I will post who will be teaching what and who will be judging what.
Liadan of Patrin-Or
