Your Grace, having followed this conversation, I feel compelled to try to
assauge your angst at HE Ian's comments.  Those of us who know Ian read his
musings exactly as Angus described.  He was reflecting on his and his fellow
-chastised bards' growth since that time.  They were unsophisticated back
then, but have since matured into the respected leaders we love so well.  We
all saw in our minds' eyes the sheepish grin he was wearing when he penned
his confession.
