I just got the phone call back from the administrator--they only work a half day on Friday when I called the first time. I explained the group, what we're looking for, etc. He told me that this is actually his last week, and so he wants to run the info by someone else so he's not setting up a big event to lay in someone else's lap to handle later. He said he would do that checking and call me back--hopefully the price is right and the date is clear. One concern of his was that since it was a Saturday event, things would all have to be in place for Sunday morning church. This would likely involve moving the several hundred chairs from the sanctuary back in. This would take several hands, but I told him Northkeep is full of people who would lend their efforts to the set-up. Since I cleaned that place for months, the cleanup would be no sweat if several pitched in. Anyway, just waiting on that call back. It really is a very nice church with very nice people.

There are several children's classrooms (6 I think) plus four larger classrooms--one of which is connected to a kitchen with a commercial looking stove/oven, a butcher block island, a deep double sink and another more shallow sink with an overhead sprayer. The kitchen has a window that opens up into the hallway and into the classroom attached to it for serving. The sanctuary and lobby leading into it are both really big. They have several hundred members. OWU has rented the facility for banquets and used tables in the sanctuary and served food in there. It would be really sweet for court. They also have another building behind the church that is used for their youth. There is plenty of outside space both beside and behind the church, lots of parking, and a concrete basketball court area
