Please forgive the mundanity but I know there's some aviation nuts on this list who might be interested.   This show included the first race of the American Rocket Racing League.  Yep. Rocket planes...Noise galore.

 Kandi Kurt from the Tulsa Air & Space Museum (TASM) is looking for volunteers for the 24th April.

They need to fill about 400 slots to adequately man the perimeter, gates,  ramp area, parking lot, & beer tent. They also have a need for volunteers with airport badges.

If you would like to volunteer or get more information, call Kandi Kurt at 834-9900 ext 114. Some positions will require a briefing which is being offered this Thursday at 0900. Anyone that can't make it to that briefing can call Kandi or Kim (ext 113) to arrange an alternate time. (Not all positions will need a briefing).
