It is a great site, that's for sure. We're excited to be there this year. There are 3 campsites we will fill that are located around the hall (more if there's an overflow out of those 3) at varying distances. I'd say after visiting twice, though not taking specific measurements :) that on average the walk is similar to walking down from the parking lot to the hall at Will Rogers. Folks may stay in the campsites if they wish and use either their own tent/pavilion or the platform tents/cabins provided. For those who wish to be a little closer to the hall for walking distance concerns, or any other reason, we have been given permission by the ranger to put up personal tents/pavilions around the perimeter of the parade area (the big open grassy area where we'll hold combat activities) located just outside the hall.

Our official event website will be up within the week, which will include tent/cabin reservations. For those who wish to stay, but want to bring their own tent and camp closer to the hall, you can contact me directly via e-mail or my phone number in the Blackstar, or get with our autocrat, Lady Eve Donald. I'll post to the list when the reservation system is open.

Another note--we will have use of the new shower house which contains 8 heated showers per gender, 4 indoors and 4 enclosed in the building but with a view of the open sky. Campsites have their own showers and latrines, but are not heated.

Thanks!
