    I believe there are currently only two others (heralds correct me if I'm wrong) and interestingly, they were both there that night.  I know, because they made a point to come up to Anton and introduce themselves as fellow Grantholders.
    Also interestingly, and amusingly, Her Majesty's royal guardsman came up to us afterward and said that the men who spoke for Anton were men he so deeply admired as warriors that he wanted to get with him and talk more about the Horde.  Anton was still a little stunned and said, sure, ok, and I smoothly interjected, "We'd love to talk about the Horde, but of course we are but simple, peaceful, pastoral nomads."
    Well, we are.

I am just glad I made it all the way through the speech about Anton with out breaking down and crying. It was a very personal thing to be asked to speak, it was in the livingroom of Anton's house that I was first introduced into the SCA. That was the same night I met William Blackfox, and Mercedes Lackey. I am very proud to see the current crown of Ansteorra showing such honor to those who through their life time of efforts have never fit into one of the other grant level awards.

You know in all my years in the SCA his was the second only Grant of Arms that I have ever seen given in an Ansteorran court.
