Upcoming Chinese New Year Celebrations
Sunday Feb. 7, 2010 at Harweldon Mansion (2210 S Main), presented by
Vietnamese Americans. 10am-4pm
1pm: Opening Ceremony, Lion Dance, longevity wishes to elders, lucky money
to children under 10 yrs. old. Vietnamese Specialty Foods catered by many
famous restaurants, drinks, flowers, games, chair massage, face painting,
crafts for sale. Admission is free. Contact TetTulsa at gmail.com for more

The Tulsa Chinese New Year Celebration will be held on Saturday, Feb.6th,
7:00pm at the Southeast Campus P.A.CE. A spectacular celebration of dance,
music, theater, and performing arts. The celebration will include the
colorful Chinese lion dance, followed by performances representing the best
of both Eastern and Western cultures. Contact jbetz at tulsacc.edu for more
information.
I know this conflicts with Winterkingdom on Saturday, but the Sunday
celebrations are awesome. If you can't attend, you may recommend to
friends.
