I have to agree that it was an awesome night. The food was fantastic, and the friendly company was the perfect remedy for these gray days of gloomy weather and blustery winds.

We had a new scribe join us, who is doing an excellent job. Those of us working on Castellan scrolls are coming along just fine. The Castellan scroll that I have been working on has to be redone, but not a huge issue. My first attempt, drawn in pencil first, was ruined due to a sloppy calligraphy pen. My second one, which I am so proud of, was my first attempt at 100% freehand, including the calligraphy. I finished all but the illumination, only to find out I had the wrong date :oP  So, third time will have to be a charm.

I look forward to Wednesday's fighter practice and scribal guild meetings. I REALLY look forward to Grub-n-Garb. Thank you everyone who makes this possible.

Once again we are showing how it is done!!! We had 60+ people at GNG
tonight. The food was awesome, and we had about 10 newcomers!! I want
to thank those who took time to talk to them. It is awesome seeing
people show up in garb ready to welcome newcomers and just having fun
themselves. I have to say we have some really talented people in our
group. I was lucky enough to see the scroll Dirvelia is working on.
Beautiful! Ayla made favors that were outstanding! We've really got it
going on!
