Sounds like an interesting twist on the ice knife as a way to dispose of the murder weapon...

Also reminds me of a story of some kids being suspended from school for handing out peppermint sticks, since they could by transformed into stabbing weapons by sucking on them. I kid you not.

I remember making that when I served time (read: Growing up) in Maine. I
emember it being like Rock Candy. You make the sheet of it then break it up
nto shards of sharp candy glass.
You can use it as a shank... and EAT it too!!
