this is actually the 1st time ive ever used " real " vanilla ; ) always used 
the cheap stuff, but was told the real stuff was better so splurged and got 
some just for this occasion ; )  ( they were right !! it does make a 
difference in the flavor = )
seems i 'm splurging a lot on this storm , i even turned up the heat to 60 
deg  : )

today is a day of wonder and beauty, perfect for snow icecream , enjoy it 
: )
for tomorrow it may all be brown snow, and nobody likes icecream made from 
brown snow : (
yardstick measures 15 inches on my front porch .

also if you run out of vanilla , for your snow icecream, maple works as well 
; )

makes it taste kind of like syrup though ; )
