I forgot to mention that Olivia and I will be missing yet another populace
meeting. As we seem to have picked up a "bug"! And the heater went out on the
van yesterday! : ( We will miss seeing your shining faces.
Hugs to all,
Elisabeth
BTW- Would someone, anyone (everyone) Remind Northkeep how much I love and
appreciate each and every one of you. I will never forget this past weekend and
how awesome it was to work with those magnificent Northern children! Thank you,
for the opportunity!
If ifs and buts were candy and nuts,we would all have a Merry Christmas!

Seems someone alerted the weather god that Northkeep has been mild, because
things are a-changing. Please watch the weather channel or go to yahoo weather
and check out the expectations. I'd hate for anyone to be left unknowing and
caught unprepared. It will start with ice and turn to snow (2-4") overnight and
snow in abundance tomorrow (10-15"). I understand it might start around 6pm, so
for long distance drivers, think about this if you plan on attending Populace
tonight.
Being a group of individuals who can survive in a tent through all sorts of
weather for many days on end, I know this won't be much of an issue for most.
But as Northkeep's Chirurgeon, I felt it my duty to warn everyone so y'all can
be prepared and safe for the next few days. Buy groceries or necessities that
you will need. Go to your storage and get lights and cooking stoves to be on the
ready for power outages. Stock up on kitty litter or rock salt. And most of all,
don't drive unless you reeaaallly have to...not because we don't know how to
drive in these conditions, but because there will be others on the road who
might not know.
As always be safe,
Ly Dervilia O'Shannon
