[Northkeep] Sad Tidings

I am so sorry to hear this Facon; she is the dear friend who told us
about the SCA in the first place almost right at this time of year
twelve years ago.  I was also so thrilled to be the Hospitaller when
she was able to be active again for a few years and remember how
thrilled she was to get her AOA.  It had been years since I last saw
her, but am so glad I ran into her recently waiting to pick up Serena
and Peg at a Writers gatherinf.  She looked so good and sounded so
involved in working as an editor for Serena.

The world is a poorer place without her,

ps, please pass on my rememberences to Rebecca and Serena for me; I
have a procedure that morning and just can't make it.  Shirley was
such a kind woman with a passionate soul, I will miss her.
