The Oklahoma Scottish Festival organizers are trying to raise funds to make the world's largest kilt and put it on Tulsa's Golden Driller.  They need to raise about $10,000, and to help do this, they are selling votes for $1 apiece to choose what tartan will adorn the big yella fella.  It's going to take about 500 yards of material.
 
If you vote for a U.S. military branch tartan, part of your $1 will go to Wounded Warriors.  If you vote for a U.K. military tartan, part of the proceeds will go to Help for Heroes, the U.K. version of Wounded Warriors.
 
Apparently, Tulsa has its own tartan (I'm trying to track it down), as does OSU (for all us Cowboys).
 
Time is short, as the voting only lasts until 4pm tomorrow, Wednesday, June 1.
