I almost hate to post this, as I don't want to interfere with the efforts to promote cameraderie and fellowship among the members of the populace of the most populous barony in the North.

But I'm a Mongol and free food is free food.

The winds have whispered to me and told me that the HuHot Mongolian Grill in Madison Wisconsin is promising a free grill meal to anyone who comes dressed in Mongol costume on the 25th. A bit of research has shown that this is true at Tulsa's newest Mongolian Grill restaurant, HuHot, across Memorial from the Woodland Hills Mall.

A farspeaker conversation with the restaurant has confirmed that this offer is ONLY for that one night, October 25, Tuesday of next week. The night of Grub & Garb.

They're pretty lax in terms of what they consider 'mongol costume', check out their website.

Don't get me wrong, the togetherness of a fully-functional potluck dinner with all my friends is a much more congenial picture by far...

But free food is free food.

They only take reservations for groups of 8 or more, and Tuesday is Kids Eat Free night, so reservations might be adviseable.

If any of us go, we probably should go as a coordinated group. Just sayin'.

Kevin

PS -- please use the two homonyms in the first sentence correctly. Not doing so makes you look less ... clever ... than we all are. Populous is not an archaic or pompous alternative to populace -- it's a different word that means a different thing and is a different part of speech.
