Subject: [Northkeep] issues of late

As a newcomer that has not been able to attend recently due to school, I just want to put my two cents worth in.  


I am not a fighter due to health issues, although I do like to watch the fighting.  I have been welcomed open arms by a member to learn to do wire weaving and I am enjoying that when I can.  I like to see the camaraderie amongst all of you.  Although I don't know a lot of you, Jennifer is quite happy fighting among you and Hunter is finding his way.  Because of this I am supportive of the group and was quite happy when I received a little blue card in the mail proclaiming my membership in this organization.  


I have been associated with a number of groups and have sat on several boards in the past and I know how hard it is to find a place to gather that will work well that does not cost large amounts of rent.  The setup that is currently in place is one of the most optimal for all involved that I have seen.  To have a place out of the elements where we can all gather to practice our arts whatever they may be is a blessing.  To find a place where clean-up is the cost of our rent and utilities is phenomenal.  These opportunities do not come often and when they do we collectively should do all we can to show our appreciation by doing our part.  I am hoping to return after this semester (I don't plan to do Tuesday evening classes again ugh).  With the numbers that we have, it should be easy to accomplish the duties required to keep the peace and the place in order.  Lets all do our part to keep everything out of the elements and having wonders about where
 we will meet week to week.
