THE Chataquas that they put on are excellent.  Tons, you might wa.t to check them out.  If you get into that and get "certified" by NEH as a resident artist, you can make some money doing reenactments for schools.

I think you will enjoy it and have a good time.  Just call and see
where you can fit in.  As for other inactments, mom took Kit to Honey
(Springs or Creek, I don't remember) one year.  Not sure what all they
have over in NW Arkansas.

For other reinactment opportunities; you should be able to find out
there what all they have going on at Ft Gibson and also at the Murrell
Home at Park Hill.  For a later time period I think they do a WWII
thing at the Batfish in Muskogee.  Also if you haven't been before,
you might want to look for the Chatauquahs.  I'm guessing they have
cast this years, but you should enjoy the performances (Tulsa's is in
June I think) and would be great doing it one year.
