[Northkeep] Chinese Lanterns for Crown Tournament Hafla

The problem with all these suggestions is that although there are many thoughtful ones is that the chinese lanterns FLOAT in the air due to the flame within them.  they are much like hot air balloons in that they use the heat generated by the candle inside to make them lighter than air and fly, thus why they are tethered.  Burn ban = no flame = no candles = no heat = no float = no chinese lanterns. Its too bad really, those things are about as cool and spiffy as you can get.  Perhaps you can use those solar lights set atop some tiki torches.  they dont provide much light but some is better than none.   Or conversely, there are staked ones you can get at Walmart that are only a couple of bucks each and you can stake them in the ground early that day so they get a good charge and glow most of the night.
