When folks sign up for this list, they receive a bit of text that says "Welcome to the Barony of Northkeep's email discussion list.  The rules are simple:  no spam, no fighting, no signing the list up to crossposting humor lists, no mundane politics, and no spreading rumors unless you can and are willing to substantiate them publically.  Have a nice time."

To repeat rule number 4 - no mundane politics.  I don't care what your politics are, keep them off this list please.  I can guarantee that whatever they are, there will be other rational, intelligent, well meaning people who think you are mistaken.

If you object to this infringement of your freedom of speech, please remember that while congress can't pass laws to restrict your speech, you agreed to the list rules by signing up.

If you object to my flagrant abuse of authority, take it up with the Seneschal and the B&B, since I answer to them.
