This is the school where I teach alternative students, ages 13 to 20.  Most of these kids do not do well in the regular school setting, because they have challenges with their home life, health issues, or just don't fit in (often very artistic, out of the box thinkers).

Of course they have heard much of "my medieval group" and are fascinated.

As you may be aware, Bartlett Academy is entering a float in this year's Sapulpa Christmas Parade.  Our school mascot is the Dragon, so the theme is "Kickin' It on Route 66 with the Dragons."  The student body elected a Dragon, a Duke and Duchess, and a Lord and Lady to represent us in the finest medieval style.  

This demo is not only for educational purposes,  it is also a prelude to the parade, which will be a week later.  I will send details of the parade route and schedule in another missive, for any who would like to come out and support us.
