Greetings,

We had a lovely meeting in Tahlequah today.  Unfortunately, no fighting, but maybe next time.  We had 9 adults and 1 baby in attendance.  We shared some food and fellowship, stories were told and they all sounded true to me :).  I'll admit not much work was done on A&S projects.  

We will meet again on Saturday, November 10 from 11 AM to 1 PM.  At our next meeting I will be teaching a class that Lady James Ainsley and I developed on Elizabethan Flat Caps.  As always, fighters will move to the park for practice.

I have agreed to keep loaner garb for the barony.  I have received some donations already and am willing to take others if you have some things that you would like to donate.  I will make the loaner garb available to newcomers to use until they are able to make their own.  I will provide an inventory of what I have and a list of who has borrowed and what they have to Lady Montega, as this responsibility falls under the Hospitaler.

Tahlequah Meeting

Notes:
This meeting is in pursuit of the Arts and Sciences and wearing garb is encouraged. If a marshal is able to attend, fighters will convene to Sequoyah Park a few blocks away for fighter practice. In the absence of a marshal, any authorized fighters who meet with us at the library may conduct an unofficial practice which will not be open to the public at Sequoyah Park. Fighters may practice as long as they like and other members of the populace will join them at the park after 1 PM when the library closes. Light refreshments will be served at the library.
