I remember going to the Fair about 2 years ago, and there was someone
taking a survey, asking people how they learned about the Fair.  When I
told her "The SCA," she said "that's a good place!"

I'm a firm believer in "kill them with kindness."  If the Fair management
has been rude, even hateful to us in the past, we just need to show them
what chivalry truly is, and be pleasant and honorable.

You are probably wise to caution against the demo in the parking lot,
particularly if the lot belongs to the castle.  I don't see how they could
sue us for having a tent or pop-up in a nearby park, where we just gather
to have a snack and visit.   And, oh, by the way, if someone comes over to
talk to us, well, we must be congenial and talk to them about our dream.

It might be good to check into the Muskogee city ordinances about dressing
in costume and hanging out in the park; some cities have strange rules.
 Los Angeles forbids anyone from wearing a mask and riding a horse through
the city.
