This is for the bards and anyone else out there who remembers what an old
fashioned bardic circle used to be like...When it comes to a bardic circle
and I am talking about the kind where people sing songs together, sort of a
"sanging" where others can join if they want to not a platform for personal
performance but a place to have a good time, so to finish the question what
are the top songs that you think of?

Here is a list that I came up with:

1. Song of the shield wall
2. Rising of the Star
3. The Parting Glass
4. Gypsy Rover
5. Wild mountain thyme
6. The Pict song
7. Old Dun Cow
8. Star of County Down
9. The Minstrel Boy
10. Tomorrow Belongs to me
11. Whiskey in the Jar
12. The Knight's Leap
13. The Derelict
14. All for me Grog
15. Spanish Ladies
16. Three Ravens
17. Thor's Son
18. The Queen of All Argyle

I am considering hosting an old fashioned "sanging" style bardic circle at
Castellan hopefully by then we can have a camp fire and make some of that
good SCA magic that we have been talking about happen.

Kindly
Ian
