One of my current thoughts on retaining old players is that an injection of
new blood might just help some of the old players. People can get excited
again by the youth and enthusiasm of new players. And passing on the traits
they want to see might help inspire some of those who have played for a
while. So all those old players talking about the good old days would have a
chance to instill the values they see missing.
