Don't think of it as crashing the fair. Think of it as gently undermining the owners attempts at being a  quote unquote "flying jerk-on-a-stick"     But jokes aside i don't see why we couldn't make a show of force to those places.

I remember over hearing a conversation when myself and Micalle had first started playing. The conversation was regarding the demo that pretty much hooked me to the SCA. One person said that the demo was a huge success which got me thinking. How was it a huge success? I mean they really only recruited me and Micalle so i piped up and asked. I was asked, How long do think you will be a part of the SCA? To which i replied, Well probably forever. I really love the SCA for all the things i can learn and do. The same was asked of Micalle and he replied roughly the same.  We were told, "The demo was a success because we got you two. Even if we only got one one you that would have still been a smashing hit."  That really stuck with me and made me feel important to the SCA and has really changed the way i approach recruitment. Talk to each person as if they are going to be the only person that stays after the demo is over. Not just another person to club with a
 mace or set up chairs.
The SCA is a nonprofit group so don't try and sell it to people, give it as a gift that they can cherish.

But anyways enough with warm fuzzy speeches. Things to do and places to go.

In service
Laiodheach the Bear

P.S.  Ainar, your pants are just fine. Dont listen to Micalle's trouser tarnishing words.

P.S.S.  Sorry for the horrid gramatical errors that probablly run rampant in this letter. Rambling is what i do best.
