This is the current weather alert for PSO. My concern is that they are already bringing in crews from other locations to prepare. This usually means it's really going to be bad. Be prepared, stay safe!

> *** More Severe T-Storms Possible Saturday from SWEPCo into AEP Texas ***

> Discussion: Severe weather in the Southern Plains will become a significant threat to PSO & SWEPCo tonight through Saturday. A cold front trailing from low pressure in the Dakotas will advance into OK & northern AR tonight providing a focusing mechanism for severe thunderstorms. Ample sunshine will create extreme instability triggering dangerous supercell thunderstorms to erupt over OK late this afternoon & evening. While these storms will be capable of tornadoes & very large hail...the main threat to the utilities will be tonight as storms organize along the cold front. PSO'sTulsa & northern McAlester Districts and SWEPCo's Fayetteville District are at greatest risk for widespread problems.
>
> On Saturday...the cold front will stretch from central AR into southwest TX. Consequently...severe thunderstorms may again organize along the cold front threatening SWEPCo, southeast PSO, and the San Angelo District of AEP Texas. An update will be issued by noon Saturday.
