Do we need to make an appointment to come to the TU library to peruse their fine documents?

The TU library's Department of Special Collections has acquired a facsimile of a manuscript known as I.33, a fighting manual dating from between 1290 and 1320. You can read a bit about it here:

http://orgs.utulsa.edu/spcol/?p=2917

This facsimile is a top-notch piece of book-arts work, and is as close to the real thing as there is without breaking into England's Royal Armouries.

The guy who runs the department (Master Diarmaid, whose Outlook is not working on his office computer for some reason) likes to have people come see the cool stuff he gets to work with. You do not have to be a TU student to get in.

In servicio,

Talana
